Engelberg
Engelberg, 1½ octaves, level 2, 2024, Score Exchange
This arrangement of "Engelberg" for 1½-octave handbells (available either in diatonic C5-G6 or F5-C7) is readily playable by three 4-in-hand handbell musicians, and includes tower swing, shake and vibrato. "Engelberg" (the melody often associated with the hymn text "When in our music God is glorified") was composed by Charles Villiers Stanford. The name Engelberg is that of a village in Switzerland; it does however mean ‘Angels’ Hill’ and this may be what Stanford had in mind.
