Commissioned by the East Anglian Regional Association of the Handbell Ringers of Great Britain in memory of Jean Sanderson (1937 - 2009). Jean Sanderson was librarian of the Institute of Astronomy at the University of Cambridge. Amongst many accomplishments she also formed the handbell group EARRINGS - comprising members of various groups within the East Anglian Region of the Handbell Ringers of Great Britain. She had a terrific wit and enjoyed playing with words. The title of the music combines these aspects of Jean's life and character.
